Captain Ginyu is the leader of the Ginyu Force. Ginyu and his team were called byFrieza to go to Planet Namek to bring him scouters and find the Dragon Balls. When they found Vegeta, Ginyu left to bring Frieza the Dragon Balls. After being informed by Jeice that most of his team was dead, he went to see what happened and when he found out Goku did this. He went into battle with him. In his battle with Goku, he switched bodies with him and had Goku's body. Later he tried taking Vegeta's body, but Goku threw a frog in front of him so he now has a frog body.
