Goku charges an Kamehameha

(かめはめ波, lit. "Turtle Devastation Wave" or "Turtle Destruction

Kamehameha wave

Wave") is the first energy attack that is shown in the Dragon Ball series. It is first seen in Manga volume 2 and in "The Kamehameha Wave" (the episode 8 of the Dragon Ball anime). The Kamehameha Wave is the most widely used finishing attack in the Dragon Ball series, and is Goku's signature attack. It is also a signature attack of the Turtle School. It's name is a pun off of the great Hawai'in King Kamehameha. To be able to use this powerful energy wave, the user must stretch out his hands

and cup them together forming kind of a bowl and place them next to his/her side, next the user must charge a large amount of energy into the center of his palms, while saying "", the "HA" being the point where the user thrusts out their hands, firing the beam (it is unknown weather the incantation is required or not but most of the time it is seen used, it is either spoken or thought).
